Updating Solyx
Updates are free. They arrive as a new copy in your library, with your settings, so you can check before you publish.
When there is an update
Shopify shows a notice in Online Store, Themes. The release notes say what changed.
How to update
- Choose Update on the notice. Shopify adds the new version to your library with your settings and content.
- Open it in the editor and check your main pages on a phone and a computer.
- Publish it when it looks right.
If you edited the code
Changes you made to the theme code are not carried over. Keep a note of them, and make them again in the new version.
