A size guide for every product

1. Make the guide pages

In Online Store, Pages, create one page per guide, for example Women’s sizes, Men’s sizes, Shoes and Kids. Tables work well: one row per size.

2. Add the “Size guide” field

1. In Settings, Custom data, Products, choose Add definition.
2. Name it Size guide. The namespace and key must be custom.size_guide.
3. Choose the type Page, and save.

3. Pick the guide on each product

Open a product, scroll to the custom data at the bottom, and choose its guide in Size guide.

Which guide shows

1. The product’s own Size guide field.
2. Otherwise, the page chosen in the Options picker block of the product page.
3. Otherwise, the page in Theme settings, Products.

The link appears next to the size option, on the product page, in the featured product and in quick view. Products without a size option don’t show it.
